When my daughter took part in her school’s production of Alice in Wonderland, I volunteered to design the poster. Then, altered the artwork and design to create a book cover too!
Illustration + Design
I created the illustration by hand using ink, watercolor, and colored pencil. Then I scanned the artwork, made alterations in Photoshop, and designed the overall layout in InDesign.
Since book cover design has always intrigued me, I altered the layout to create a book cover design for my portfolio. Someday, I hope to design book covers that inspire curious hands to pull them from a bookstore shelf. See more examples of my illustration work here.
